CHALLENGE: Client was expanding their business nationally and needed a 3-year strategic plan
SOLUTION: Engaged client stakeholders with strategic planning methodology and developed 3-year plan
RESULT: Plan adopted and implemented during challenging economic climate of 2001-2002 with revenues growing to over $130M in new geographic area and over 100 new employees

CHALLENGE: Client was struggling to adapt their capital planning and control process from supply-driven to demand-responsive
SOLUTION: Implemented defined processes and controls with key stakeholders to identify and track demand capital requirements and utilization
RESULT: Able to forecast and track $100M+ demand driven capital portfolio to within 5% where prior performance had been out by as much as 50%
Marketing, Sales, Sales Support, and Sales Operations
CHALLENGE: Client was experiencing accelerating sales growth in the outsourcing market and was struggling to support its sales force in proposal and bid activity
SOLUTION: Worked with key stakeholders to define customer segments and product lines and then implement tools and templates to increase productivity and throughput
RESULT: Increased sales support performance enabled business to grow recurring revenue rapidly, including one product area from almost no revenue to over $20M in two years

CHALLENGE: Client wanted to generate revenue through their field support personnel 
SOLUTION: Created incentive and change management program with key stakeholders
RESULT: Rapid deployment with 60% (and growing) field support personnel participation, generating $400k in annualized revenues after first 5 months

CHALLENGE: Client was seeking to renew multi-year contract with existing customer 
SOLUTION: Developed strategic account plan to renew customer relationship and to reshape scope of service contract renewal
RESULT: Multi-million dollar, 5-year contract signed with customer

CHALLENGE: Client was merging multiple lines of businesses reporting to 7 different VPs and needed to integrate sales structure, processes, planning, and incentive into a single enterprise plan
SOLUTION: Designed "future state" organization with key stakeholders and rolled out project to successfully change manage the sales forces into single organization with consistent processes, plans, and incentives
RESULT: Implemented in single quarter new sales structure and incentive plan that yielded 35% increase in YoY sales first quarter; aligned over 450 staff into new organization

CHALLENGE: Client had no standard sales funnel or opportunity management tool and needed a consolidated view of their sales activity
SOLUTION: Identified, adapted, and rolled out standardized opportunity management processes and sales funnel tool to support; led support organization to adopt mature system and support practices
RESULT: Standardized sales opportunity management process and reporting on single platform, with >99.5+% uptime, 95%+ same day resolution of support inquiries, and processing 90% higher support volumes using same staffing levels
Service and Operations
CHALLENGE: Client was undertaking a systems implementation with four trans-national clients and needed a problem and change management solution and one that would pass formal customer audit
SOLUTION: Assessed existing problem and management change processes and tools to identify and adapt one to meet customer requirements
RESULT: Problem and change management process passed audit and proceeded to handle unexpectedly large volume of problem incidents and change requests due to supplier failure on a critical module for systems implementation

CHALLENGE: Client needed to reduce operational cost
SOLUTION: Assessed operation using operations management and process engineering tools to identify and build desktop tools to eliminate non-value add activity in work process
RESULT: Staff able to process 2x previous work volumes through elimination of wait and move process inefficiencies

CHALLENGE: Client needed to reduce operational cost
SOLUTION: Led research project with university to develop machine learning algorithms to automate low value add activity
RESULT: Over 25% of previously manual workload in key process was automated using open-source, machine-learning technology

CHALLENGE: Client needed to address staff workload problems


SOLUTION: Facilitated cross-departmental team to identify, prioritize, and begin ramping-up ability to implement automation and RPA (robotic process automation)
RESULT: Over 100 process efficiency opportunities identified; 2,000+ hours (annualized) of effort saved in first six months through process automation and RPA
IT/Operations
CHALLENGE: Client was merging two businesses and needed to merge their customer data to provide a holistic view of their customers
SOLUTION: Developed and executed enterprise change management project with client internal stakeholders
RESULT: Over 400k new customer records merged with existing data store of 800k customers with the 50+ downstream systems and processes prepared and ready

CHALLENGE: Client had recently completed deployment of a Financial Datamart and MSBI system and needed to transition to a robust sustainment model following release of most project related staff
SOLUTION: Led team to adopt key systems management and SLA tracking processes
RESULT: Consistent monthly delivery of over 200 different reports (2,000 report views per month) for over 200 different financial and business staff with much smaller support team

CHALLENGE: Client needed to replace their existing batch-updated customer-data information store with a modernized version that would sustain legacy workflow but enable online application access
SOLUTION: Conducted market survey to assess potential solutions but ended up working with IT organization to build replacement platform given unique requirements of organization
RESULT: Replacement went live with no operational impacts to legacy workflow (4M records from over 15 different sources) and enabled online application access via service layer

CHALLENGE: Client needed to assess current state of its network operation but with all the data they had they were struggling to see the forest for the trees
SOLUTION: Utilized open-source, data analytics and machine learning to provide reporting and insights into operation from available data (including problem and incident trends, network and server vulnerabilities, facility capacity, and environmental risks)
RESULT: Client was able to use reporting and insights to develop business case to modernize network and operation
